Bus Trip to see the 50th Anniversary Peter Paul and Mary concert at Chautagua Institute. 4:00 pm
Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Peter, Paul and Mary
The Sharpsville Historical Society is organizing a bus trip to the Chautauqua Institute in New York on Friday July 27th to see Peter Yarrow & Noel Paul Stookey: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Peter, Paul and Mary.
2012 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1962 release of the first album of Peter, Paul and Mary. Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stanisky are taking this timeless music on the road to share their iconic folk songs and memories of their colleague Mary Travers who passed away in 2009. Their legacy continues to inspire, because theirs is a music and message of activism and hope. Share the joys of “Puff, The Magic Dragon” “Blowin’ In The Wind” and “If I Had A Hammer”
Cost of the trip is $70 and includes round trip motor coach transportation and admission to the performance. We will stop along the way for dinner on your own. We will depart for Chautaqua at 4pm and estimated return is Midnight.
